Gifted and Talented Evaluation
Entrance into many gifted and talented programs requires specific cognitive abilities as measured by standardized assessments. In a Gifted and Talented assessment, your child’s cognitive ability, as well as specific strengths and weaknesses, will be measured by the WISC-V. In addition, specific creative abilities and gifted characteristics are measured by the GRS-2 parent and teacher rating scales. Additional academic assessments and behavioral rating scales are administered as needed and a full report detailing your child’s cognitive profile is given.
