My name is Maddie Maloney, and I’m excited to be part of the Come Play, STL team as a Speech-Language Pathologist! I’m originally from North Carolina where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a minor in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I later moved to Saint Louis to complete my Master’s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at Saint Louis University. I’ve quickly fallen in love with the city and am happy to call Saint Louis home. Throughout my professional and clinical experiences, I have worked with individuals across the lifespan in a variety of settings, including schools, inpatient hospitals, and private practice clinics. Through these experiences, I’ve developed a passion for working with children and their families to support functional speech, language, cognition, and feeding skills. I love using a child-led, evidence-based approach to best support each individual I work with. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband exploring local coffee shops and going on walks around the city. I also love reading, baking sourdough, crafting, and traveling.
